Senior PHP/LAMP Developer
TutorZ is seeking a senior PHP developer for its Linux/Apache/PHP/MySQL web applications who also can web master the hosting of the TutorZ production site.
Your first task will be to research suitable new hosting environments (perhaps Amazon's EC2 or Google cloud computing cluster) and then execute the transfer. You will maintain the production site (performance tuning, backups, releases, Perl script) and install and configure applications such as email server and SVN.
Your next responsibilities include the development of PHP applications such as search, front-end, back-end, database, marketing, tracking and site architecture. Your deliverables have clear interfaces and are well structured using the OO methodology. All your code will be unit tested and code reviewed.
Excellent verbal and oral English Skills is a big plus.
Desired Skills:
- 2+ years of work experience.
- PHP 5.0 and 6.0, MySQL, CSS2, JavaScript, Ajax, Apache.
- Object-Oriented development, design patterns, unit testing.
- development tools: phpMyAdmin, SVN, browsers, firebug, perl, regular-ex.
- Primary OS: Windows, Secondary OS: Linux
- Very good written and spoken English communication skills
