I have worked as a tutor and a systems analyst for the last 25 years. I've taught with Jack Motta, who was voted the best math instructor of the State of Florida for two years. I've taught both here and abroad in various countries. Celebrity clientele.

Personal Statement

When choosing a tutor, one needs to find a tutor who has three qualities. Each of these qualities are like the ingredients in an applepie. In other words, if one is missing, the whole pie tastes bad. These qualities are: Professional: I work hard for my students. I use the time to teach that student and I show up on time. I have extensive experience teaching from having taught AP Calculus courses here in Gainesville to having taught Math in Bolivia, Colombia, and Peru to having taught celebrity kids of the Disney Channel. I've worked for years teaching at Santa Fe College in Gainesville. Two of these years I taught with Jack Motta, who had been voted the best teacher of the State of Florida for those two years. I use many of his methods in my teaching practice. All in all I have 30 plus years experience in teaching. Subject Knowledge: In order to teach a subject for years, one has to have a thorough knowledge of the subject material. It is impossible to make fairly complex topics easy to understand without thoroughly understanding them. Ability to communicate clearly: I have the ability to communicate complex topics clearly. Many times, I've been able to explain many weeks of material to the students in less than an hour and have the student understand it and understand how it fits into the entire subject of Mathematics. Especially, since Math all builds on each other, I've the ability to quickly figure out where the student fell behind.
