Education and Qualifications
| school: |
University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth |
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and an Associate degree in Liberal Arts/Science from Massasoit Community College. While at UMass I worked for the Academic Resource Center as a math tutor.
I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer for two years in Uganda, during which I taught mathematics to teacher trainees.
Personal Statement
I love mathematics; I'm pursuing a graduate degree in math and, eventually, I hope to become a professor. I try to share that enthusiasm with my students as best I can. I try to be flexible in my teaching style, and I tailor my instruction to suit the student.
