"Why to Choose Private Dance Lessons at Pacific Grove Dance The best reason to choose private dance lessons over group classes is that you get all the time and attention to yourself. Everyone learns differently and during a private lesson your instructor will focus just on you and will determine whether you need to work more on steps, technique or styling. We have taught ballroom dancing to all levels of students here in Monterey/Carmel/Salinas CA and our expensive experience enables us to recognize which approach will work best for you. For some people, it might feel a little scary to begin learning to dance through group classes. That's why a lot of people prefer to start with private instruction where they can learn to feel confident on the dance floor and be able to dance with other people. Often we hear people say that they have two left feet ;) When you start to learn in private dance lessons, you will see how quickly and easily you can progress. Group classes usually do not provide individualized instruction, as there may be another twenty students besides you in the class. But group classes are good when you take them along with private ballroom dance lessons. As an addition, they can acquaint you with different dances and also can teach you how to lead and follow, which is very important for partners. We at Pacific Grove Dance think private lessons are the best way to start. If you're local and live in: Monterey, Carmel, Marina, Seaside, Pacific Grove or Salinas, CA, then you qualify for a complimentary ballroom dance lesson!" less...
