Personal Statement
As a former military pharmacy technician, I feel I have a very unique perspective of the teaching process. My approach is to understand the student and his present knowledge, present additional basic knowledge to build an understanding of the subject, so the student can progress in his knowledge and master the subject.
I will try to establish the learning fundamentals so I can further build on them later, and the student obtains a foundation for further learning.
Although I only feel confident in tutoring in a few subjects, since I have a bachelor's degree in chemistry and a minor in mathematics, I will on tutor those subjects presently. I have usually taught only adults in very small groups, but I have some experience teaching games to children. I believe these are my strong points in teaching.
