Personal Statement
When you learn chemistry you discover that when there is a shortage of a reactant in the equation, it can limit the entire reaction. This is called a limiting reagent. Many students give up on math at some point in high school. But this limits their future career choices. Don't give up, persevere, and call me for help.
I taught high school mathematics and science in a small Christian school. I also enjoyed teaching adults at Columbus State Community College. During the day, I am a writer and editor for math and science textbooks. I have experience with most graphing calculators, including the Casio series, TI-83, and TI-nspire.
The best way to learn anything is to practice. Most sessions are a bit of teaching, some practicing, and helping to turn "I don't get it" into a lightbulb moment!
