I graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Early Childhood. I am an experienced teacher with a strong background in early childhood and elementary education. Over 15 years of teaching experience, including 8 years of full-time teaching and 7 years as a substitute teacher, with 3 years of teaching preschool and day care. Summertime teaching activities include 9 years of tutoring and 5 years of camp experience working as a counselor, assistant and director.
Personal Statement
I am exceptionally creative with proven organizational, planning and leadership skills. I am an articulate communicator able to effectively interact with students, parents, faculty and administration. I create nurturing, motivational learning environments to help children achieve their potential. I tutor students in grades Pre-K-4 in all general subjects during the school year and summer break.
