Education and Qualifications

I am a senior at The College of New Jersey with a near-perfect 3.96 GPA. I will graduate in May 2009 with a B.S. in Elementary Education and a B.A. in History. I will also receive my certification to teach Elementary Education and K-12 Social Studies / History.

Personal Statement

I am an exceptional student and have always derived pleasure from learning. I plan to turn this passion into a successful career as a teacher upon my graduation from college next year. I have already participated in three student-teacher experience with students in grades 1, 3, and 8. As part of these experiences, I have written and taught countless lessons and planned thematic units. Most recently, I conducted a two-week unit on the Solar System for students in the 3rd grade. Additionally, I taught at a Hebrew School for two years as a full teacher. Finally, I am an exceptional writer and frequently assist other college students with their writing assignments.
