Personal Statement

I have tutored children and young adults for a while now. I started when I was a senior in high school with the elementary school in my area. Also, my neighbors would have my tutor their children and grandchildren in elementary math and reading. I have always enjoyed seeing children and young adults succeed with their goals. I'm currently enrolled in school, taking online courses for software engineering. I am familiar with a variety of subjects and quite well in them. I am very knowledgeable in grammar, vocabulary, essay writing, research papers, reading, C , and basic computer skills. I wrote for my college newspaper and won national awards for articles my editor and journalism professor submitted. I have always had a passion for grammar and vocabulary assignments as well as writing and research papers. On a computer level, I have written many programs using the C and Python programming languages. They have run and executed perfectly. I take pride in my work and give my all. I love children and helping them in any way I can. I believe succeeding in education is very important in today's society. I volunteer in my daughter's class at school. We read books and afterward, I will ask them questions about what they've read and get their basic understanding, and of course, answer any questions they may have. I taught Sunday school for 5 years. Watching my class grow in the Lord and then at the end of each quarter, putting on a program for their parents to see was rewarding. There's no greater feeling. I look forward to working with your children and those of you needing assistance with your education needs.
