Personal Statement

I have been a certified teacher for over ten years. I have worked with all grade levels from second grade through high school. I received my bachelor's degree in elementary education with a concentration in mathematics. I then continued to get my master's degree in elementary mathematics in 2005. In 2006, I received my mathematics teaching certification and am certified to teacher Kindergarten through 12th grade. I have always had a love for mathematics and I always like to have my students say that they can do math. I love being able to work one on one with students because I feel I can give you 100% of my attention at all times and work with you on any specific problems. Most of my teaching experience has been at the high school and middle school levels. At the high school level, I have taught, at one point or another, pre-algebra, Algebra 1, geometry, Algebra 2, and precalculus with a component of trigonometry. With all that experience, I feel I am qualified to tutor most area in mathematics.
