Personal Statement
I bring to my tutoring a wide range of experience as a teacher and business person. I have over thirteen years experience teaching children, young adults and adults. In addition to the BS degree in English that I earned in 1987, I have a 30 credit business minor and am two classes away from my master’s degree curriculum development. I began working with computers while in junior high and purchased my first PC in 1987. I have over twelve years experience as a computer trainer and teacher, and have given classes in over twenty-three software packages. I have also taught a range of business classes including accounting, quick-books, personal finance, business communication and business law. I have worked a wide range of jobs from the family farm and other business to office manager and government contractor. I know that my wide range of experience will enable me to not only help you learn subject matter but practical application of the subject content.
