Personal Statement
My background as a foreign language teacher spans both university and high school classrooms, with experience teaching all levels of French, and introductory to intermediate Italian. I have taught both adolescent and adult learners, and pride myself on developing lessons tailored to fit students' individual needs. My tutoring approach can be either traditional textbook and grammar-based, or a more modern, technology and communication-oriented. With a Masters in French and Bachelors degrees in both French and Italian, I have spent quite a bit of time abroad studying and perfecting my language skills, just as I have spent years in a classroom developing my teaching skills. I am currently teaching high school French in Massachusetts and live in Northeastern Connecticut.
