Personal Statement

Foreign Language Teacher born and raised in Chisinau, Moldova (Former Soviet Union) living now near Atlanta, GA. I am a native speaker of both Russian and Romanian, and am currently teaching my husband and 3 children both languages. In addition to teaching spoken Russian, I also teach reading and writing in Russian with the Cyrillic alphabet. As a native Russian, I am very familiar with its culture, customs, and traditions, which we also review in my classes. Trained as an attorney in Russian, I am also familiar with its law and legal proceedings and currently own a company (Visa Global Advisors), which provides visa and immigration assistance to individuals, families, and businesses to foreign nationals. I have always been fond of foreign languages and also speak English, Spanish, Ukrainian and French. This can make our sessions a lot easier. I'm available for live, in-person tutoring as well as virtual sessions to anywhere in the world over Skype. Languages can be and should be fun, and I make all my classes engaging.
