Personal Statement

My name is Anna and I would love to help you with studying English or Polish. I have 7 years of international experience in teaching ESL in public and private schools as well as tutoring. I started tutoring students when I was still in high school and since then I knew I wanted to become a professional teacher. I have tutored students from six to sixty years old, from beginners to advanced business English. Recently, I started tutoring students in Polish. My teaching philosophy is student-oriented. For me, tutoring is not only about teaching a subject. It is also about meeting students' personal goals and expectations. Every student has different needs, thus flexibility is my key to success. I am currently in a TESOL program for a Master's degree at CCSU, and my main interests are linguistics and sailing.
