Personal Statement
My name is Giulia, and I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Connecticut. I am pursuing a dual degree, one in Math and one in Education. I just got into the NEAG School of Education here and am planning to get my masters in a couple years. I am 20 years old and have been tutoring for about 4-5 years. I started tutoring when I was in high school, I tutored math and Italian for other high schoolers. During my first year of college I joined a program in which I would tutor kids from grades 6-8 in whatever homework/subjects they needed help in. Last semester I tutored at a nearby high school in subjects such as Algebra and Geometry. This year, I run the tutoring program that I participated in last year.
