Education and Qualifications

I am a senior at UNCC with a 3.96 gpa (the highest currently in my respective school). I am soon to receive two degrees (one in Management Information Systems and the other in Operations Management - the two hardest majors in the Belk college of business). I will be graduating next summer as I have 4 classes and one required internship left. I have a very heavy background in accounting, chemistry, economics, organic chemistry, mathematics, computers, database, programming and business applications, writing, etc...

Personal Statement

I am a very driven individual and strive to do the best I can at everything I do. I am extremely knowledgeable on a wide breadth of topics. I also had/have ADHD, so I know how to deal with ADHD and similar conditions from a personal perspective - I personally love helping students of all ages (preferably high school and above) cope with ADHD - it just gives such a sense of accomplishment when they find out that ADHD doesn't mean they are slow or stupid. It's actually quite the opposite. ADHD, as I have found, means you are an extremely fast learner and with just a few techniques can many times just quickly sail right on past your peers and everyone else for that matter. My technique with ADHD is to get right to the core of the problem and make it interesting and a game for the individual. It takes time, but once the switch is realized the sky is the limit. Remember, I was once in their shoes and actually still am. ADHD doesn't have to be a sentence or negative label. It can also be the gateway to an exciting career path and more. Many of the smartest people on Earth have ADHD. The difference is they learned how to control it and use it to their advantage...
