I received my BA in Elementary and Special Education from Providence College.
Personal Statement
I have been teaching Elementary and Special Education for four years now. I have taught in the South Bronx, NYC and currently in Westwood, MA. The students that I have taught have ranged in various disabilities from mild to severe. My style is to make my lessons fun and interesting. I truly believe that each kid is unique and has specific needs and wants. I always create a good rapport with the students and alter my lessons to meet their specific goals and objectives. I was a two year captain and full scholarship Division 1 athlete for the Providence Friars women's basketball team. I have many leadership qualities and the ability to connect to any child.
