Education and Qualifications
I have a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology, with an honors thesis/concentration in Organic Chemistry and a Masters in Science Education from SCSU. I worked as an Medicinal Chemist for several years, prior to deciding to teach. I currently teach Middle School Science (physics, chemistry, biology, and botany) and have been tutoring high school chemistry, biology and physics. In addition, I am experienced in teaching algebra, geometry and study skills.
Personal Statement
I have found a true love in teaching, and gain satisfaction through my students' successes. I am committed to the idea that there is always more than one way to approach and solve a problem. I look forward to giving my students the foundation necessary to thrive in all of their academic endeavors.
