I graduated from the University of CT in 2004 with my masters degree. I have 6 years experience teaching high school math and; 10 years experience tutoring math for grades k-12.

Personal Statement

I have a strong love of math and desire to pass that on to my students. I have a very clear way of teaching math and have had several of my students over the years say that math used to be their worst subjects, but I have helped them learn it in a way they never thought possible. Some quotes from my previous students (I'm not making them up, I have the letters from the students to prove it.) :-) "You might be tough, but you come out knowing your stuff!" "You were probably the best teacher I will have through my high school career. I know math because of you and math has always been my downfall.
