Education and Qualifications

school: Princeton University

I have taught engineering at a college in New York City for the past five years, and have been a tutor for almost twenty years.

Personal Statement

I am using my love of mathematics and science to help students struggling in those areas. As a college professor and part-time aerospace engineer, I use math and science every day. This familiarity with the material coupled with my experience in teaching and expressing my ideas can help you achieve your goals, whether it's remedial help or getting your grade up from a B to an A. I typically work with high school and college students, but I have had success with middle-school students as well. I can help you in high school math, chemistry and physics (including Advanced Placement); college level math (including calculus, linear algebra, probablility and differential equations), physics and chemistry. I also help with test preparation (GRE, Fundamentals of Engineering) and I offer group discounts. Right now I am available for help on Saturdays. I can travel to most places within Westchester county, and some locations in Rockland county.
