My name is Volf Krimershmoys and I am a Professional Mechanical Engineer registered in the state of Pennsylvania. I received strong mathematical education during my engineering studies and Professional Engineering courses at Drexel University.
Personal Statement
When my son was in the 7th grade at Baldi Middle school in Philadelphia, he participated in the program ran by John Hopkins University. This program gave seventh graders the opportunity to take SAT exams together with high school students in order to find candidates who can succeed in mathematics in later studies. I tutored him for 2 months and consequently he received a score of 650 in the math portion of the SAT, the best score any Baldi student got during 6 years of participation in the program.
I always had a penchant for teaching and therefore when my friends asked me to tutor their kids I was glad to help. After considerable improvement in their knowledge and test scores I began to advertise in newspapers and developed over 20 years of tutoring experience. During the time I helped numerous students from 2d grade with learning disabilities to high school honor students to college students in General Math, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, Physics and sat/act preparation. Among my current math pupils are students from Bucks County Community College, Temple and Holy Family Universities.
