Personal Statement
Tutors math at a level that students can really understand it. Very good communication skills. Once students understand the fundamentals, they are able to start building on their skills to continue learning math as opposed to avoiding it. I have found that many students adjust their desired majors in college just to avoid taking Mathematics classes. I work with students to prepare for tests, to assist with homework, to prepare for standard tests such as the ACT, SAT, FCAT, clast, gmat, ged, Military and many more. I also have elementary students who are doing exceptionally well now in their classes, moving from the bottom of the class to the top in mathematics. I will work with students using their books and their class syllabus. This seems to really help them gain confidence quickly.
