Personal Statement
My strong points are history geography, and social studies. I have a degree in History, with a minor in geography, from UTSA. In school, I obtained: 30 hours of History credits, 12 hours of Geography credits, 9 hours of social studies credits, and 12 hours of classroom management. I have passed the TExES 191 Generalist EC-6 test. I'm also enrolled in the Texas Teacher's Alternative certification.
Those are my academic qualifications, but they don't describe me. AS a child, I had asthma, and other illnesses that caused me to miss and fall behind in school. I know what it feels like to struggle in school. I've overcome many obstacles in my life. I know how to identify, and overcome such obstacles.
