Education and Qualifications

I have finished Master classes on Nutritional Science major. I am Registered Dietitian and educated many clients and patients individually or as a group on their diet, or different nutrition and health related topics. I have conducted many presentations provided handouts and used visual aids such as PowerPoint, and videos. I also attended workshops to educate public. I have Gerontology certificate as well. This helped me learn more about elderly population and their related needs.

Personal Statement

In past 12 years working as a “Nutritionist”, I educated many clients and patients who came from different age group, ethnicity and socio-economic classes on their diet and nutrition topics. I believe it's important to prepare educational tools by considering the clients background, age, and level of literacy. Establishing rapport it's most important part of teaching clients otherwise teaching won't be effective. By considering and distinguishing my clients needs I tailored handouts and presentations tools to maximize their learning skills. I also encourage my students to participate in class lessons and reward them for their participations.
