Personal Statement
Above and beyond all else, I value personal communication in education, and am convinced that anyone can learn anything they want to, given enough time, patience and appropriate instruction. I have a pretty unique talent for finding just the right words or phrases to convey the subject matter in a way that makes it easy for my students to grasp even very complex concepts.
As for myself, I'm a Danish immigrant, married to an American citizen, and recently moved to Atlanta, GA, after more than a year of traveling. I've got a B.Sc. in Biology, and a M.Sc. in Plant Science, as well as 6 years of experience teaching and tutoring all ages (from kindergarten to college level), both in class room settings, small study groups and individual lessons.
