"When I was six years old my sister told about the concept of infinity. I remember staring out the windows of my first-grade classroom at the distant clouds and trying to imagine an infinite God. (I didnít succeed.) That probing curiosity would take me through a Ph.D. in philosophy, graduate study in mathematics, and original research in epistemology, medical ethics, and theology. I have two daughters, one in middle school and one in high school. I am a college instructor who enjoys helping students learn and grow in reasoning skills and common sense. I have a sincere interest in preparing students for success academically and giving them the intellectual tools that can help them make wise, thoughtful decisions at every stage of life." less...
