Education and Qualifications

school: California State University, Northridge

My masters degree is in physics with dual bachelors in physics and mathematics. I currently do contract software development primarily where scientific or complex calculations are required. I have been tutoring for 30 plus years because I want to give back to my community and love working with young students. Seeing the lights turn on is my greatest joy!

Personal Statement

My approach is to guide the student through a series of questions which leads them to discovery. I also use real world example of the topic or problem. All Tutoring sessions are 90 minutes. When tutoring at the student's home, I require a commitment of 8 sessions (two sessions per week) and all session must be completed within 6 weeks. For this contract I charge $400 pre-paid by check or cash. I also offer sessions at the office of Kinetic Computing (my place of business), 3551 Ball Ground Hwy, Canton (2 miles north of the Wal-Mart). These sessions are by appointment (subject to my availability), do not require a minimum session commitment, and are $50 each (cash only). References available on request. Do not delay as my schedule fills up vary quickly and I can only help a limited number of students each semester.
