Personal Statement
I have been a professional proofreader/editor for more than 25 years. I prefer telecommuting, if possible, as I do not drive. I am active in Mensa and my condo and church boards.
Originally from New Jersey, I came to Hawai`i from California in 1969 with my Hawai`i-born third generation Japanese husband.
While at UH Manoa, I tutored Japanese native speakers in English, as well as designed K-3 tests in Ilokano and Tagalog.
