Personal Statement

My most recent teaching experience has been at Wilton High School where I taught Russian. I have taught Russian language classes to the beginning, intermediate and advanced students. I have developed lesson plans and exams, and I have designed various class projects and activities to reinforce language skills. I have also assigned speaking projects to improve student fluency. I enjoy working with my students, and I have established good relationships with my students and their parents. Also for the past 8 years I have taught Russian language and literature classes to the beginning, intermediate and advanced students in a Saturday school primarily for heritage speakers of Russian. I have also worked with students with special needs. I always try to find the best way to reach my students through individual conversations with them and their parents. I am very dedicated to my students and do everything I can to help them accomplish the necessary skills to be outstanding in the language. I am certified to teach in the United States.
