I graduated Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan with my BS in elementary education with an emphasis in elementary/middle school math and science. In May of 2007, I received my masters of education degree at Washington University. I also received a graduate certificate in inquiry based science education while at WashU.
Personal Statement
I am currently a 7th grade science teacher looking to help students prepare for their upcoming schoolyear during the summer months and possibly throughout the upcoming year. I am interested in tutoring the areas of middle school science and math. I am certified to teach all subjects 1st - 6th grade and 5th - 9th grade science. I have always excelled in the area of mathematics and science.
