My career credits include: - Ph.D. Royal Academy of Music - Broadway New York City Drummer/Percussionist - International Touring Drummer - Principal Percussionist Danish National Theater Internationally acclaimed drummer, percussionist and educator, Timothy has established an impressive and varied career as a professional musician. His resume covers the gamut of the musical universe from Broadway Theater, and major pop/rock and jazz acts, to solo concert tours and European Symphony Orchestras. From 1, Timothy held the position of principal drummer/percussionist for The Danish New Theater (the largest privately run theatre in Scandinavia), including performances for The Royal Families of Denmark, Sweden and Norway, The Parliament of The European Union and a private concert for Prince Joachim of Denmark. Additional freelance work as a drummer included extensive concerts and tours of England, Scandinavia and The United States with internationally known artists and ensembles, including more than 300 dates with the roots hybrid group Marshfield Crossing. As a soloist, Timothy received the Advanced Post Graduate Degree as a soloist from The Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, Denmark. His European Debut as a performer was critically heralded by the press as: “(a performer) who possesses an exceptional ability to dispose of time and the tensions that are built within silence”…”a performer with a temperament and musical power of unusually rare proportions” ... “a virtuosity of a seldom seen degree”. In addition to many International solo tours, Timothy performed as a featured artist at the prestigious Percussive Arts Society International Convention in Nashville, TN, and was Artist in Residence at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. A dedicated music educator, Timothy was Director of Percussion Studies at The Hvidovre School of Music in Copenhagen for 12 years, as well as conductor of the award winning theost Percussion Ensemble. His detailed and individualized approach to teaching has successfully impacted hundreds of students throughout the years. An offer to work with North American Musical Contractor Sam Lutfiyya saw Timothy return to the United States in 2009 as drummer for the National Tour of “Chicago” and continued work with a number of Broadway Productions. Timothy currently resides in Princeton, NJ with his wife and two children.
