Personal Statement
I have 30 years of tutoring and training experience. I was Residential Tutor/Counselor for Upward Bound all 4 summers of college, a Resident Assistant all 4 years in college, and a professional Subject Matter Expert and Trainer for 26 years working internationally with all backgrounds, cultures, and learning styles. My teaching/tutoring style includes using Situational Leadership, active listening, problem solving, and customizing my approach to the student's learning style and needs.
I have a BS in Chemical Engineering, was inducted in the National Honor Society in High School, received the Scholar Athlete Award, received numerous academic scholarships to college, received numerous quality, training, and leadership awards from 6 different global corporations, and completed various classes and training on Child and Adult Learning Styles, and Creative Training Techniques.
I was a Student Tutor in High School and College.
I am also available for group tutoring and training sessions for 2 or more students.
Serve as company Chief Learning Officer (CLO).
I have earned the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification on Microsoft Office programs and Windows operating systems. I spend 10 hours per day using the Microsoft Office Products and Windows operating systems software.
