Personal Statement
Welcome!
My name is Rebecca and I am excited to be your new vocal instructor. I have a Bachelors of Music in voice performance and have extensive performance experience. I would like to work with singers of all ages and capabilities. All styles of singers are welcome; from pop to jazz to classical. My style of instruction follows the bel canto technique which can be applied to any style of singing. I believe in nurturing the voice and stimulating a love and passion for music. Each student will be taught according to their level and learning style. My method is about self-awareness and self-exploration of the voice with a trusting and knowledgeable guide. I believe everyone has an optimal learning style and every voice is unique and wonderful. My mission is to teach each student in the way that best stimulates their growth, improvement, and love of singing. I look forward to working with you!
