"I'm Gina. I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Human Services (Sociology). I had a double major. I also obtained my teaching credential during that time as well. I traveled and studied abroad for one semester in Spain, to better understand and appreciate the Spanish culture and language. During my college years, I learned that the classes that I enjoyed the most were not due to the subject matter, but were due to the professors. These professors were willing to engage the students, go the extra mile to make learning interesting and enjoyable, and were willing to help in extra ways if necessary, for their students to master the material.

I strive to make learning enjoyable and desire to have a good relationship with my students. I like to introduce information in a fun, interesting way, and after learning, give plenty of time to practice new skills, based on the student's individual needs. I love tutoring because I can get to know a student, one on one, and work with their specific needs and desires in mastery of materials.

I currently work as an ESL teacher in a school in Tennessee. I have worked for the past 18 years as a Spanish teacher, so I am experienced in working with language students. I have proofread for many years, in various settings, for school publications, and for private writers.
