My qualifications include over ten years of teaching and tutoring the GMAT and GRE, a law degree, and exceptionally high test scores (760 on an actual GMAT, perfect 170 for GRE quant). Perhaps more important, though, is the fact that my students love studying with me. It's one thing to know a subject well, but an effective tutor must know how to teach.

My philosophy is that students tend to learn more when they:

a) Practice while they learn (as opposed to just listening to a lecture, for example).

b) Understand the "why" of the methods, not just the "how."

c) Have fun when they learn.
