"Hello! I'm Peyton! I am currently a first year medical student in the US Army HPSP Program. I am been through the application process, interviewed at over 10 medical schools and currently am a student interviewer at my current school. I can assist with with every step of the application process! I have been a teaching assistant for Anatomy at school and have experience in anatomy, biology, chemistry, and physics. I also received a 521 MCAT score and would love to help you achieve success! My favorite thing about tutoring is watching students master material they previously struggled with and succeed at challenges placed in front of them.
I am a collegiate athlete with several years of coaching experience. I love drawing parallels between the MCAT and athletics, teaching students how to practice skills, critique their shortcomings and emphasize their strengths.
I found that the best way to teach is to make science fun and interesting. It is way easier to learn things you can apply in your every day life. My goal is to explain abstract concepts using analogies and references that people see every day. Science isn't as hard as textbooks and instructors make it out to be. Studying it can be extremely interesting and rewarding, and I would love to show you how!
I put in hundreds of hours of work studying for the MCAT, learning tips, tricks and strategies that I used to achieve a 521 on the exam. Now that the test is over, I would like to share that knowledge and make it easier for you to achieve success on the exam. My goal is to teach students the things I wish I had known about the MCAT when I began studying, so that preparing for the exam can be as simple and efficient as possible.I have been accepted to four medical schools (and counting) and would love to aid in every step of the application process.
I have over 300 hours of tutoring experience throughout my career (a number that is quickly growing) and have helped over 60 students.
