"I believe every child can learn. Not in the same way, and not on the same day, but every child can learn. I have over 200 hours of classroom experience and have specialized in grades K-2. Currently, I teach life skills at the middle school level. I have an Education degree from California Lutheran University.

I believe in using differentiation and equity in the classroom to design lessons that reach each and every student. Every child has different needs, and thrives in different areas. It’s so important to me to identify those areas of strength to build upon them. As well as identify areas of weakness, this is where I can see specifically where the child needs help. Every student learns in a different way, and I believe in using many different methods to figure out how a student will succeed best. Scaffolding or differentiation is key to individual success, I do not believe in teaching to the middle, but identifying what each and every student needs to succeed and building upon their own unique way of learning.

I have studied elementary as well as college English. I’m proficient in creative as well as research writing materials. I have always excelled in English and vocabulary. I can’t wait to help!
