"I am a high school English teacher that specializes in English literature, rhetorical analysis, and test preparation. I have taught 9th-12th grade, AP, Honors, and Dual Enrollment courses, as well as STAAR prep courses for students that have struggled with testing in the past.

I am love pop culture, so I regularly include movie clips, music, tv shows, memes and social media posts in my lesson plans in order to help students understand content. I love to chat about sports and movies, and typically include these things in my lectures.

In the state of Texas, I am certified to teach English Language Arts 4th-12th grades, Speech 7-12th grades, ESL 4th-12th grades, and I hold a Gifted and Talented certification.

I have taught ACT and SAT preparation, AP exam preparation, and STAAR EOC English 1 & 2 preparation. I have tutored Comp 1301/1302 students, and I regularly spend time editing and assisting with the creation of resumes, CVs, and letters of interests.
