"Hi! My name is Matt. I currently teach at Everett School District in alternative education. I have been teaching and working in education for over 13 years total. I was born and raised in Bedford County and have a degree in Health and Phys Ed and Special Education, and I am certified in both. I am also working on completing my certification in Social Studies as well as Language Arts. I have taught all ages from K-Adult and a wide variety of subjects. Over the years I have worked in various school districts and for several behavioral health organizations. The difference between myself and many teachers or tutors is my ability to identify with kids or students. It was not that long ago that I was a kid myself! This allows me to look at education the way a student looks at it. It is challenging!
