"My teaching/mentoring experience began almost a decade ago while in the Marine Corps. During this time I had the opportunity to coach junior Marines in a variety areas ranging from work related tasks such as trouble shooting avionics systems to helping with overall well being.

After I completed my service I decided to pursue a degree in Aerospace engineering from Cal Poly Pomona which I obtained in 2018. Now, working at Raytheon, I have been put into roles that require me to explain new concepts to junior engineers very quickly so I am constantly honing my ability to teach people new subjects.

As someone who did not grasp new concepts easily, I have developed methods of learning new material quickly. This enables me to use my experience to break down complex ideas into a form easily absorbed by those new to a certain subject.
