"I graduated in Linguistics and Portuguese Language at University of Sao Paulo in 1990 and immediately immigrated to the US. where I started teaching Portuguese one-to-one lessons as well as group lessons at a Language School located in Alhambra, CA. At that same school I was trained about the techniques in teaching foreign languages to English speakers, but I had to adapt to non-English speakers as well.

I enjoy teaching Portuguese Language of Brazil as well as the culture, history so I can help my students to successfully communicate with native Brazilians when that opportunity occurs. It is rewarding to see the confidence in my students about learning a new language and becoming familiar with a new culture.
