"I have been teaching for 12 yrs in academia. I taught at the University level as a lecturer for incoming undergrad freshmen, a Lab Tutor for engineering classes, and as a teacher with tutoring companies. I have a strong interest in seeing people improve and accomplish things they previously taught they couldn't. I enjoy the process of not only teaching a student concepts and ideas, but helping them to think for themselves.

When I am not tutoring, you will most likely find me, training in or teaching self defense/martial arts. I volunteer with, Engineers Without Borders-NY Chapter, because I believe using whatever skill or ability I have, to help people in need.

I have advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering, which is math intensive. I have also taught math and am currently teaching math to elementary and high school students.

I have written many papers in engineering, some published in science journals, in addition to successfully awarded proposals/grants. This involves an intense writing/drafting/correction process. I also write for my health and fitness website.

I enjoy the process of, not only teaching a student concepts and ideas, but helping them to think for themselves.
