"MY BACKGROUND -

I have taught Liberal Arts courses online and in hybrid formats for Umass Global (formerly Brandman University) for over 11 years. I have taught undergraduate and graduate courses. I have also worked in Academic and Public libraries for over 17 years. Throughout this time many of the instruction for English related papers and academic research has been a focus of my professional career.

I have a Bachelor's in History 2006 from Cal State San Bernardino and I achieved my Masters in Information Science from San Jose State University in 2012. While working on my Master's degree I also served as an online peer mentor during my degree helping new students to distance education.

I have served in three different public libraries as an adult librarian, I've served in two different community colleges and currently working as a UMass Global Adjunct Faculty member teaching Liberal Arts instruction. The courses I teach focus on Adult Education & Student Success Strategies

MY CONNECTION WITH ONLINE INSTRUCTION -

I took my first online course in 2001 and have been adept at working through course management systems such as Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, and Angel.

I have assisted thousands of students over my professional career.

As an academic librarian and researcher, I enjoy helping students succeed. My specialty is in APA instruction and the use of library databases and library tools to find research material and peer-reviewed journals. I am an expert APA writer and proofreader.
