"Hello! Thank you for considering me as your tutor. I am a natural artist with professional experience and educated knowledge in art. Now, just so that we're clear, when I say natural artist I mean I was born with a pencil in my hand! Drawing, painting, and designing have been the most common uses of my hands since I was a toddler. There's no other way to put this... I LOVE ART (particularly, drawing, painting and re-designing). I graduated from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY in 2010. Originally, I studied as a Fine Arts major, particularly drawing, painting and ceramics. Once I completed that two year program, I changed my major to film studying for an additional four years and obtaining my degree in film. While in college, two of my films screened at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Post college, I have shied away from film and continued in Fine Arts.

I have over five years of tutoring/teaching experience in the arts. In 2013 my husband and I created what we call "mobile classes". At any location, we taught the Bible (and academia) through art to children ages 5 - up! The students ranged from public school children, home schooled children, those transitioning from public school to home school, adults, and even one home schooled infant! We started with just 2 hour after school classes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Our classes included but were not limited to: painting, drawing, and crafts. In our second year of classes, a near-by elementary school partnered with us and adopted our programs for their struggling students. With the elementary school students, we focused more on academia and tutored the students using art. As a result, their test scores sky rocketed!

In addition to the success of our after school classes, we decided to transform the classes into an all free summer camp. We called it Camp Romans 1:16, where we again based our curriculum on the Word of God coupled with art.
