"I'd like to be a tutor because I enjoy meeting new people, and would like to move from tutoring just high school age students to students of all ages. I have fun tutoring my brother and his friends sometimes, and I think it'd be a great way to spend the extra time I have now that I'm not working on college applications. I'd also like a steady job to start saving up for my choir's international tour this year, and for college, which is coming up soon. I'm in my high school's choir, spending almost 13 hours a week or more singing, and I love every minute of it. I'm also in the school musical, so even though I'm not too great at dancing or acting, I have a lot of fun doing it. I'm a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and I like boxing for a workout. I also love hiking, adventuring with my dog, baking, and coloring. I'm a second generation Indian-American, so my parents immigrated from India before they had me. I speak Bengali and English, and enjoy having the best of both worlds as an American-Indian teenager. I hope to move to the east coast for college and study biomedical engineering, and take lots of extra classes in voice, film, and art. Lastly, I love people, and I love getting to know them." less...
