"I am a registered dietitian, working healthcare consulting as well as writing, teaching, and culinary education. I completed my dietetic internship at Massachusetts General Hospital. I earned my MPH in Public Health Nutrition from UC Berkeley. At Princeton, I majored in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and received certificates (i.e., minors) in Environmental Studies, Sustainable Energy, and Italian.
I have extensive experience with tutoring, beginning with Italian in high school, and then statistics, Italian, and chemistry to fellow students in college. I took courses in many different areas of science throughout college, all at or above the AP or introductory level. Since graduating, I have tutored students ranging from high school to retirement age in statistics, Italian, and biology. I also have experience tutoring all subjects on the SAT, most recently in 2018. I took subject tests in Biology, Chemistry, Math II, and Italian, and can also tutor for those tests.
I have strong background in foreign languages, ranging from 8 years of studying Italian, three of Spanish, two of Latin, and a summer spent teaching myself introductory Swahili. I won a national essay contest in Italian in high school, as well as state Latin competitions, and earned top scores in national Latin and Italian exams. I am very interested in linguistics, and participated in multiple rounds of an international linguistics competition in high school.
I have always loved teaching and mentoring students and I would love the chance to work with you." less...
