"I have taught High School Science for 7 years. I have a bachelor's in Biology and a minor in Chemistry and also in Psychology. I have helped many students succeed at passing their state exams (TAKS, STAAR, EOC) so that they may graduate. I have helped students with learning disabilities succeed as well. I have helped every type of student, from GT to Special ED. I know how to connect the subject to a student's life so that with a connection they really understand the material and even end up liking it. I do not believe in memorizing and regurgitating information. Students who never thought they could learn, not only learned but passed their state exams and have gone on to succeed in college after being in my class.
