Besides, the Spanish language has been part of my life for many years which qualifies me as a great fit as a tutor for Spanish speakers, in addition to any other first language you may speak. 

My focus is on Portuguese conversation, accent reduction, writing and proofreading - for school, business or travel - along with academic & business presentations coaching. 

Personally, I went through the whole journey of living abroad and polishing a new language - besides the cultural aspects of it - so that has enhanced my teaching method with empathy, sensibility, patience and attention to detail and the specific needs of the student (each individual is unique and comes from a different background) focusing on thorough and efficient learning.

I hold a professional degree in Architecture and Urbanism from one of the most renowned universities in Brazil; I am a licensed architect in Brazil and in the process of getting my license in the State of New York. Moreover, I've been working in the field of architecture for more than 15 years both abroad and in NYC. I am also a LEED certified professional. When still in college, I successfully worked on an award winning academic research about Neogothic Architecture and can coach you on how to develop a well structured, cohesive and interesting academic or business lecture or presentation.
