"Introduction:
I'm a huge movie buff and love listening to music every chance I get. I've worked in college and career readiness in some form or another ever since I was 16. I have taught as a seminar instructor, nonprofit teacher, career advisor, adjunct faculty member, among other roles. During that time, I have also earned my Master of Education with a specialty in Student Affairs.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught students in the past through both formal and informal positions. Most of my experience centers around education, particularly with college readiness programs. I currently work within Human Resources at one of the largest hospitals in the state consulting for various education programs, including internship and scholarship programs. Before transitioning to HR, I have served as a Career Consultant with assisting university students with their professional development. Additionally, I have served with nonprofit programs and the local school district working with students on college transition, financial literacy, and professional development. I have had the unique opportunity of gaining a large breadth of experience within different parts of the education sector in a relatively short time period.
Teaching Philosophy:
I have worked with students that have no idea where to begin and students that just need a little bit of direction. I have taught students who range from middle school to senior citizens, but through Wyzant, I mainly work online with high school and adult students. I do my best to teach students in a manner that is easy to understand and helps students get a good grasp on concepts that can help them now and in the future.
Note on Cheating:
I've gotten some inquiries relating to this in the past. If you ask me to take a graded assignment on your behalf or try to offer me extra money to cheat for you, I will decline. Don't even bother asking. Keep in mind that some schools can and will expel you." less...
