"My college career began as a math major and a math tutor in a community college. I completed a bachelor's degree in English with certification to teach high school English. I completed the math certification at a local college in my hometown.

I have used my degree and both certifications to teach at a community college and at the high school level in writing and math classes. I also continued my education and completed a Master's degree in Education and an Educational Specialist's degree in Counseling. I love the classroom but working with students one-on-one is most rewarding.

My love of the material is my most valuable asset. Needed processes and procedures are clear and easy to follow with consistent references and connections to previous learning. Having worked with different age groups uniquely qualifies me to meet students where they are and know what is needed at subsequent levels.
